So. How’s it going. I know a bunch of y’all are stuck at home with your kids too. Anyone lost their minds yet? My kids school sent their chromebooks home and we’ve been doing distance learning and zoom meetings with her teacher every day. I threatened to glue her to her chair a couple days ago if she got out of her seat again before she finished her writing assignment 😅🤪.
Doing the best I can but I’ve learned something I already knew tbh. I’m certainly not cut out to be a teacher and all teachers deserve raises. -

I’m pretty sure this whole COVID-19 thing is the work of the teacher’s unions. They launched it to strengthen their collective bargaining position, another couple weeks of this and parents will start demanding their paychecks just go directly to their kid’s teacher. 😷🤪 -
When I was in first grade (1981) there was a boy in my class who just could not stay in his chair. (He probably had a severe case of ADHD but not a lot was known about it then.) Anyway, one day my teacher had had enough so she literally taped him to his chair. She took a roll of tape and just wound it around him and the chair. He was stuck in the chair the rest of the day.
She was actually a really nice (& good) teacher too.
