November 2011 lying in a hospital bed. This game kept me from getting bored for a few days.... and those days turned into years

From June 2010 until Feb 2011, the average time it took to gain 1k was 2 weeks. Then, just before the noob flood, the average for 1k had slowed to 1 month.
The noob flood began Nov 4, 2011. (From Nov 4 - Nov 6 I gained 1k mob in 2 days.) From Nov 4, 2011 to Dec 25, 2011 (less than 2 months), I gained 10k mob. That’s despite the fact that by Dec 9th I was behind on punching regular codes on the code site because I was punching so many temps & then regulars from the invite forum.

You could actually open the invite forum, punch just the first page of codes (which would be almost all new players), close the forum, immediately open it again and the first page would be all new (different) codes again. It was insane. Nothing has ever compared to that time.

I don’t remember the exact date but it was between 9/2012 (when I got a smartphone) and 9/2013 (when my daughter was born). I know because I was addicted to this game when she was born and was hopping in the hospital.

August 2010. Didn’t punch during the noob rush and took 4-5 years off while I played GS. Just can’t get away from TW though

I started either late 2011 or early 2012. I remember specifically thinking I could easily pass Mystery in mob because of how fast I was mobbing up.
I didn't realise what a temp code was until I suddenly stopped gaining so much after my first week 😅
