I grew up hating the Lakers, Kobe, Shaq, etc. but damn, no denying his legendhood. RIP to an all-time great. 🙏🏽

If you lived in Southern California in the last 20 years, Kobe WAS so cal. And LA. He inspired generations of kids. His drive, competitiveness, and desire to succeed is something we should all want to emulate. I’ve been a staunch anti-Lakers fan for my whole life. But Kobe was a legend and a tremendous asset to the sport of basketball. He was an ambassador. Very sad for him and the families of the other victims.
