The future of the world
Forums › General Discussion › The future of the world-
We could have got here 3 ways. Evelution from monkey(this is definitely not what happened.) aliens( good chance. There's a series tv show that talks all about this) and god.
I am between god and aliens. Bending towards aliens more tho.
As for the world. Fallout is what will happen. Nuclear war.
2012 is bs. We will have nuclear war. There's a good chance of various other things. But most likely this would be it.Anybody who thinks that the world will be ok. There wrong

Time is a man made concept, time does not exist to god so evolution could of happened over 100,000s of years to us but a split second to god, man says god took 7days to create everything but who the he'll knows
I don't believe a God of any sort

I believe humans will live

Ok I'm not gonna get in to the religion debate again after last time. Let's say Adam and Eve is true, evolution is wrong. This means evidence of Neanderthals, Neanderthal-Homosapien interbreeding is historically and evidently fake? Let me guess it's a world wide conspiracy. If it started with A&E what's the rest of he story? How did we get to where we are? Or maybe jck used his magic bean and we all popped out? Lol.

Correct me if I am worn but "evolution" in itself is not a theory it is the fact of life. How does a caterpillar turn in to a
butteryfly...this is recurring-evolution in existence. Whether it applies to humans will be debated until the end of days. -

A: It came from a guy floating around in nothing for endless time, that came from nothing and had no stimuli, yet was able to zap the billions of galaxies into existence, focusing on getting your Mom pregnant..Ok, can you explain one thing? Where do you suggest the moon, stars, and never ending universe came from? That's always confused me a bit. Thanks
Or B: As we have observed, the universe is still expanding from a massive singularity explosion that happened about 10 billion years ago or so, leaving behind the light elements that came together with gravity. Gravity caused fusion, creating heavier elements. That crap blew up and made the dust our solar system and all of us are made of.
What exactly was the singularity? A dense pill containing all matter in our universe, or a hole into some other dimension... Whatever.

No, but we have seen fruit flies change from one generation to the next as a function of their DNA and environment. This is mechanically the same DNA that humans have. That, and the fact that our DNA has now been completely mapped, it's obvious where we came from. You are a primate. That's not a guess. Try to have an open mind. Why should God avoid evolution? Because it's too easy? Because the cool fables in Genesis should be taken literally? Says who? -

A god I don't know what time they run on so I just said a split second. But yea I ment what you said. The theory of god and evolution can co-existIn all honesty God is just a Father Christmas for adults. Something to give you belief, something to keep u scared into living a good life

I love the "evolution hasn't been proven" argument. Oh...I'm sorry I didn't realize you proved the existence of god...oh...you didn't? But I have allll this supporting evidence that evolution is real...wait...what?? You say you have NO evidence good is real? Hrmmm.

And besides. 2000 years ago before cars...bedew xboxs and cameras and whatever. If I technologically advanced dude dressed in white flew over in his space ship what do you think people would have assumed he was? Woe this guy can do anything. Must be a god. I really like the original stargate movie. Showcased this idea rather well.

I'll be a godfather!!!!!

A nuclear war perhaps.
An asteroid.
Who knows?
All i gotta say is live each day as if it were your last.
You never know when the world will end.
Hell... It could end the next time you flush your toilet. -
Look... I'll put this plain and simple. I'm a Catholic, and a practicing one.
However, ESPECCIALLY in Genesis' case, some books are to explain as best they can, and others, like genesis, were not made to be literally interpreted. If you look at the structure, its definitely a story.
My solid belief is that God does exist. HOWEVER, that's not to say that he's what we think he is. Our mundane minds are not capable of experiencing infinity. God is infinity, therefore, we attempt to squeeze him into our theology with tangible boundaries. We don't see the whole truth.
Microevolution is proven scientific fact. Macroevolution, however, is not. These "missing links" have not been found. Not to say it's not possible. But it's still debateable.
Could god have put evolution into motion? Yes. Did he? Maybe. -

The problem of missing links is more an issue of the inherent jarring of a pigeonholing exercise like taxonomy, overlain onto the fluid and ever-changing genetic river. Than a problem of an imperfect fossil record. This isn't the best place to be able to explain the matter fully tho. And of course peoples own flavours of internal bias (both sides) would hamper the discussion, esp in a text specific discourse.
Not sure how the world will end. But we might be dumb enough to get ourselves wiped out, tho the earth will continue .
