Ok, friends this thread is to give Mickey Dunn the well-deserved send off to an amazing TW career.
What I would like to ask and see from you is if Mickey ever did even the smallest of things to help you out put it in here. Let him know if he’s ever helped you out.I know for me I wouldn’t still be playing this game if it aren’t for him,
Did he ever talk a bigger player down from crushing you when you were a new player and made a rookie mistake?
Did he ever send you tips on what to do or how something worked?
When you first started playing did one if your first messages come from him and his beginners guide?
Wait, maybe he helped bump your code so you could mob up?
If that’s not it, maybe he just befriended you and have you someone you could reach out to for a chaste or advice.

Mickey I wish you well in real life, you’re a special person with a good heart. Don’t ever forget that. Whatever you set your mind to for your life and what you want to do I know you can succeed!

No income noob. Was hella naive and ready to quit the game. The thought of asking someone to “let me tax them” was stupid in my mind. But without income I couldn’t do shit. So in a last ditch effort I asked Dunn if I could tax him. Not only did he reply, he hooked me up with other players, other locations and advice. His interest wasn’t in the circles, it was impacting an online community with positivity and humility. 💔🥃💔

Mickey had mentored me since around 2011. He showed me the basics, and he helped me make very good allies. I told myself I was gonna get on his mob code list and it took me over 6 months of bumping his codes and others but I made it. Then fast forward to a few years ago, I had no family and I wanted to be a broken heart. But I didnt meet mob requirements, he told me as long as I work on my mob all will be well. None the less, the moral of the story is he was a major mentor and was there for me in more ways than just an ally. A friend, someone who didnt see mob and belittled you. He truly cared.

Many people assumed Dunn owned or had an interest in this business.
It is simply incomprehensible to most of us assholes that a human could be so genuinely helpful with no selfish or financial agenda.The fact he did that in a war game and was appreciated by all was even more remarkable.
Wish I had time to say more, it’s just sad that the game has gone so far downhill that it broke the spirit of the game’s #1 positive advocate, and most loyal customer.
Maybe a bigger shame that the community didn’t do more to show Mr. Dunn the appreciation the game failed to.

Mickey has always treated me better than I deserve. He does that for everyone. I think that’s why he is so loved here. He fed his addiction in this game and sunk who knows how much time and money into it. But he never let it consume his humanity. He always looked out for everyone, and made this a better place to be. He took me and my big mouth in to his family and he supported me and provided encouragement and finances to keep the code site going. He set an example of greatness, but it’s not the size of his mob that made him great, and I will miss him and his tireless work to prop this place up. 🍻

Mickey was a good guy to all. We talked from time to time and every once in a while he would attack me but only 10-15 profile hits. When I would ask him what was up he always said “just getting some experience “. 🤔🤔. 👍🐢

What?!?! No more Mr. Dunn??? I honestly thought he was the game. Everywhere on map, consistently in forums, ALWAYS willing to lend a hand to anyone/everyone. The game officially lost it’s heart. He was the first player to contact me when i started almost 9 yrs ago (as is the case with damn near everyone who ever played). You will be missed and I truly wish you all the best rl has to offer. Kudos to you for your dedication and even more for your strength to let go. Good luck sir!

It’s crazy to see and read how far and wide his reach was throughout the game over all these years. Like you said Raindog you thought he was the game because he was the heart and soul of TW.
