I am new the the broader scope of this game and I was just wondering about all these alliances... I'm not going to list them because I know I would forget some, and I'm not asking anyone to reveal the anonymity that some function under... However which ones are invite only what are some of the requirements to join and what are the values they stand for???

Well in your area, you have CMS, CEM, and maybe EC3? CMS from what I know is both invite and ask but there requirements are pretty high. Around 7k mob I think. CEM there's certaintly enough around to ask. Same with ec3. Just find out who are the leaders and pm them.

CMS is 5k, but some people lower are allowed in. CEM is currently 4k. I think 5k by New Years.

Only Neko I believe is below minimum, and he had some personal issues we have discussed before that limit his play time. And it's 3.5k, not 4k. But 5k by new years is correct.

We have a Grounghog in our midst, every team needs a furry mascot. We waive the mob minimums if the character and attitude of the player is beyond question..... Still wondering who let that \V/ guy in tho.....
