gasface wasn't a legend how he went out. he was a legend because he was the topmobster from the start. so huge. fair, diplomatic, ruthless, likeable. he held capo of new York city thrice.

noooo. NYC back in the day had three capos. or rather, manhattan did. new York, new York city, and manhattan. gasface held all three at one time. google maps zoning...

Great thread. For me based on what I heard, the three top gone players are:
1) Gasface
2) Thuglife
3) Patsy KillineBases in order on how much I have heard of them. President Nixon was another good player and Mama Tek is still here and there I believe so she doesn't count as a legend of the past since she stills pops in. Beliel, too soon to say.
