Has anyone ever tried to determine how inactive players are on here?

Yes. We ask all the time, like "yo! Inactive players. How you doin?"
But for some reason they never answer.

well the biggest mob is almost 150k. there are a bunch of players who quit early on or reset who arent part of that number.

for funsies lets assume dunn has an insane 25% mob invite acceptance rate and 1 in 4 players have made it to dunn's mob. then there's at least 600k players out there. assuming dunn's mob contains essentially all active players and providing an extremely conservative estimate that 1 in 3 of dunn's mob is active, then there's at least 550k inactive players.

i personally think the number is much higher but only nick knows for sure.

Create a brand new account and see how many people invite you (or in other words, punch your temp code).
This would tell you how many people are punching codes daily, and would thus be one measure of “active” players.

I started in March if I recall correctly and I just reached 1,100. I've done a limited amount of temp code punching. I did punch historical codes some. I could probably be a lot further along if I hit mob codes everyday to get the new temps. Then I'd be in that slim window when someone just started and has a high probability of accepting before making a decision on staying or going. I hope that helps.

I’m coming up on two years with this game (playing off and on), and I barely passed 1,300 a few months ago. I mostly rely on nearby players (especially when traveling) and posting my invite code because I’m pretty lazy 😂
