I was watching a documentary on the Chernobyl disaster and learned about the conscripted men who shoveled radioactive waste off the top of the reactor building. They gave a lot in sacrifice with little in return at all. They were named the liquidators. Much respect to their efforts not knowing it meant certain death due to cancer one day. So when I found this game years ago, I decided to use that as my name.
