Do people still play Turf Wars?
Forums › General Discussion › Do people still play Turf Wars?-
I was wondering if a good amount of people still played this game, or if other active players are scarse. I’m new and this game seems absolutely amazing, but I’m worried I’ve come to the party way too late, and all that’s left are a bunch of inactives and a few veteran stragglers. Is that the case?

People still play but the game is sadly a faint shadow of its former glory. Anyway, punch codes and stay motivated and you’ll have fun.

New peoujoin every day. Most don’t ask questions or play only their neighborhood & quickly fade away. It doesn’t have to be that way. Many young players are learning by listening to vets, reading the forums and trying different things in the game. Be a farmer, be a ranger, be a killer or be anything you want. Pay attention to what groups are doing things you would like to try to do & message them.

Yeah, I read Dunn’s beginners guide. Which is where I noticed it was made in 2012. That’s what prompted this question.

This game is meant to be much more social than it appears to be. This is why it looks dead. Don’t be fooled. Why it may not be as good as it once was, it is still very much alive 😊

Turf Wars is unique, but the lack of any real major updates in combination with being very P2W and much better and newer GPS based games has caused it to fall significantly behind compared to other mobile games.

I often wonder what would have happened if I hadn't stumbled upon turf wars in the App Store that fateful day in December of '09. What would I have done with all that extra time and money? Maybe I would've graduated medical school by now and started my own successful practice. Maybe I would've hit the big time trading stocks in the market. Or maybe (probably) I would've found some other pointless and unproductive waste of time and money to fill the void in my life. 🤷♂️O U 8 1 2 wrote:

I’ve spent a few hundred over 9+ years

I came around in 2015 and the game was relatively alive it has dulled down since then but some of the key monsters are still very much active and all the inactive people are open to be taxed! So it’s easy money the best part is that if you type a series of letters you’re bound to find someone’s invite code I’ll punch like 50-100 every day and my mob is growing

I love punching sequences when I’m not really feeling like punching codes, it quicker and less mundane. The return isn’t great but it’s easier to punch more codes so the odds go up a little.I came around in 2015 and the game was relatively alive it has dulled down since then but some of the key monsters are still very much active and all the inactive people are open to be taxed!
