Yep. And I know alot of players who have done quite well not spending all that much. It's a free game guys. It doesn't require you to spend a thing and you can still compete without spending a thing. It'll take alot more work and alot more patience but that's the way it should be.I know one player in particular with over 10 k mob and 100,000 inf with a turf limit of 24 lol proving u don't have to spend loads

It's a free game. If nick lowered the prices the plauers that spend thousands would still do so and would still be stronger than everyone else. So your idea wouldn't actually do a thing.Like everything in this game they are too expensive. Nick is costing most players out of this game. You only have to look at posts about black ops to see how people are moving on. At £35 console games are a lot better value for money. Nick reduce your pricing and attract more gamers

Belial you do put some rubbish in the forums lower prices would let people who are not as willing to pay as much play to a higher level. This would make the game more interesting. The game devs are cashing in without doubt so don't waste your time trying to get me to think otherwise.Belial wrote:

Isnt it a TINY bit sad to spend ur hard earned money on mobbing up on henchmen when u will get bored of this game in around less than a year? (not saying that every1 will). Anyways, if u got money to burn, do it, if u got something better to spend on, dont. In my opinions henchman-free mobs are better! Nothing shall beat the my henchsh1t free mob! 💩🔫
-
Of course the devs are cashing in? This should be nonprofit? My point is you lower the prices and what you define now as "higher level" will now be lower level. It never ends. But at the same time it's a free game. It never gets cheaper than free.

And a near free player can compete at a high level. It's all mob and most of the big mobs are low hench or hemch free any ways. Just mob up amd cap

Jb. Don points are not required for top level play. Please explain why you feel they are
-
Sorry but I agree... You cant compete at the highest levels without the ability to be mobile and plant new turf. This means you need don points to increase turf limit. Without the turf limit increase you can't sustain the cost of full weapons for your mob. Just capping wildly across the country will a) eventually lead you to a dead end b) render you immobile and unable to exhibit any form of strategy. And c) turn you into a character like Brit or shaggly with half the country (except a handful of stooges) baying for your blood.

greed is good.

Code punching ensures that only the people who work to be at the top will make it to the top. Lazy. 👎 I also wish my henchmen could be returned.
-
having been a part of the 09 club, code punching sucks and I hate it. I wish I could afford a couple thousand henchfolk. I haven't really punched a code since June.
-
I have not spent a dime on this game as I do not have a dime to spend, however if you are bill gates then yes buy henchmen. Won't spending thousands on a free iPod app to be the most powerful player really inhance your life...*waves sarcasm flag*
-
I havent punched a code in 3 months... But I won't buy henchmen ever. I post my list around as many people as possible instead and I get about 30-40 invites a day.
-
I agree that the don points should be cheaper like £1 for 100 all the way but that doesn't change the fact that some people have more spare cash to spend than others and the players with lots of henchman now would still have an advantage the same size as they do now. As for turf limit is balanced by cap range and the 10% rule
-
Back to stainys comment on mobility yes is an important part of any war and unfortunately does cost money unless you are extremely careful where you put your first turfs like 1 each in major city or something.

belial i think we have gone off mr jobless topic but never mind im interested in your thinking. you yourself have obviously spent money on the game as have i. my issue however is summed up very well by stainy. further to this i think the younger gamers have been priced out of the game which is a shame as more players would equal more fun. i am aware that in comparison the game is priced similar to others for don points but that doesn't make it right in my mind. the game devs are cashing in on every game upgrade. i understand this is someone business but that said with comments like pass me the pipe you are smoking bro from nick i doubt he's right to progess this game.Jb. Mobility isn't all that important. Look at cupcake. He's hardly mobile. Mobility is a preference. I am friends with many players that don't have high limits and do just fine
-
Yup ... I suppose the pacifists out there do fine on low turf limits. I myself had a limit of 25 or so for the first six months of play... But try having a few substantial dedecated enemies on your case and you'll soon see mobility isn't a preference as much as a necessity to avoid extinction.

That isn't true at all either. Using the proper tactics and mobbing up you can survive just about anything. Mobility isn't exactly the only survival tacticYup ... To hench or not to hench? That is the question. I have yet to follow the 'dark path' but I see it as this. I personally have no objection to henchies. My problem lies with the fact that people reset and you lose a mob member. Henchies are permanent which basically means people have purchased a mob member who will never go away and so are always at an advantage. I do think there needs to be a stricter limit and they need to be altered. People who have already purchased them should keep them but new henchies should be temporary additions only.
-
I do agree with some of the comments that have been made here. In away I agree that you have to spend a certain amount of money on this game to get anywhere. I have brought a few Hench men but not the 4K that stated yesterday. I think to get anywhere you have to buy more turf to be able to move around and make more money...... And Belial if you want to see how many hench I have just tell me where and ill prove I have 1130 hench and 9575 mob....

yes I think pacifist is an excellent description of cupcake.

Players like cupcake are an anomoly as opposed to the rule. Fair play. I presume he has a number of factors in his favour. High mob. Turfs in busy areas with lots of other players. Imagine if he (or she! I don't know) lived in the middle of nowhere. He wouldn't be anything. No offence to him I personally admire the fact cupcake has achieved what they have without spending majorly.
