So tonight I have found and had my father talking to me who i havent seen in 33 years. The reason this happened is my 8 yr old princess got upset because she didn't have any grandads so I put my own well being aside to give my daughter the grandad she deserves and it turns out he's a really nice bloke and has been following Millie on YouTube since she was 5 yr old and knows all about us. Very strange but lovely after 33 yrs

That’s awesome news DC. I recently found my birth mother after 37 years and met her for the first time last autumn. Makes you realise how special family are.

I found out tonight that he lives a few miles away in Peckham London and lives where I park my car to go millwall. He also used to play for millwall "my dad". And goes each week. How I must of walked past him a million times there and not known is a head fuck

Ive also found my family. Took a bit of research and time. Im adopted but have reconnected with some siblings. Ancestry and 23andme.com helped. I submitted my dna and got a hit on a half brother a few months ago.

I've just found out I have 3 sisters and 2 half sisters and 4 uncles lol

Does the DNA swab work then?

I spit in a small tube, sealed it and submitted it. Few weeks later got my results.

Weird and familiar in equal amounts. I’m approaching it all with an open mind, one day at a time.
It’s a lot to take in, especially when you realised you are living so close!
