I was trying to avoid this thread due to the fact I had the worst taste in music ever when I was young. I think I was about 7-8 years old and I bought an Aren Carter (can't spell it) cd. I can't remember what the price was though. I used to record good songs on recordable cassets from the radio :) . The first good cd I ever purchased/gifted to was "Nimrod" from Green Day for i think around 10-15$. I was around 11 to 12 years old at the time. My parents then found out how many curses were in the songs and so I was only alowd to have 3 of the songs on my iPod Nano.

Billy Idol Rebel Yell picture disk lp was my first when I was 12 and paid about $14 for it...
