Today I learned that sunday a friend of mine shot his wife(thankfully she alive) then shot himself. My heart hurts for his family. He was a good, kind hearted man that iv known for nearly 15 years. To say no-one would ever expect this is an understatement. I just wish I had known of the deep pain they must have been going through 😔.

It pisses me off. Im the type of person that is private and i dont like to pry into people business. And yet im plagued with whys and what ifs. I dont like giving advice because then the consequences and reactions i have part ownership in. But if you dont....

I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. That’s terrible. The guy snapped. There’s nothing you could’ve done. Only thing you can do now is help his wife. Mental health is a crazy (no pun intended).

Sorry to hear Deicide. Always a shock when it’s someone you know so well. There could’ve been many reasons why this happened. Hopefully you get the answers you need. Best of luck and you know your TW friends are here if you need ppl to vent to.

Come to find out over the past few years he’s been having indications of being bipolar and was on heavy meds for depression and insomnia, and i know he was a bit of a drinker so it might have been a terrible combination of everything together. I guess he tried to hide it the best he could but thats an awful lot to hold in. Heading to the funeral tomorrow. 😔

I’m sad that he’s gone but in light of all of the other stuff i’m grateful he was the only one taken, it sounds like it could have been alot worse.
