I like that Trump is pulling out of Syria, it forced that liberal imperialist Mattis out of his position. Now only if Trump can pull out of all the occupied countries the Global-liberal empire will take a big blow, couple that with an overthrow of Macron and exits from the European Union from Belgium and France the world will finally have hope.

On one hand, I agree re: Syria. On the other hand, it greenlights Russia to have full control over the country, it strands allies like the Kurds, and possibly allows an ISIS (who even the Muslim world fears and hates) resurgence. Really, at this point, there is no winning scenario I can think of. We stay, innocent people get screwed. We leave, innocent people get screwed.

NPR is ok. Sadly, I think some of the more reliable US news is found in other countries’ media like BBC, Telegraph, etc. Most of our media is pretty strongly biased.

The only way to get Russian influence out of Syria (I don’t know why they should be viewed as an enemy anyways) would be to declare war on Assad’s regime and have a Cold War style proxy war. This time though the liberals will want all out destruction because unlike in Vietnam where we were fighting godless communists the elites would have Americans actively against Christian Russia and proactively displace the Christian population in Syria by overthrowing the Assad regime.
