Can it do everything the new apple watch can do? Gotta look up the fitbit.

Im just not a watch person, havent had one in 20years.(that was a $300-400 casio or seiko that didnt do shit but look nice) The new iwatch looks interesting though.

I’m an Apple person but actually use the FitBit on my wrist. 4 day battery life, displays texts and phone calls (from iPhone) and is nice and slim. iOS software is excellent for tracking resting heart rate, sleep patterns etc.
My spouse has the original Series 1 Apple Watch and is making noises about wanting the lastest and greatest this Christmas. (Love it ... easy present to buy).
Until there is an Apple Watch that has at least a three day battery life, I’m not interested. I don’t want to be charging the thing everyday, even overnight.

No, but if youre using it for fitness tracking, calories, steps, shit like that, fitbit all the way. It virtually does all the same besides some of apples touches. Can it do everything the new apple watch can do? Gotta look up the fitbit.

I got a half decent middle range Tag Heuer a while back, it rarely sees any use now since the wife got me a FitBit as a surprise present after being curious how far I walk the dog each day.
FitBit is quite addictive.
It seems to be pretty accurate for sleep patterns, resting heart rate etc,
gotta agree with Daisy tho, the FitBit gets around 4 days on one charge of around 1.5hrs.
I don’t know how long it takes to charge the Apple Watch each day, but most peeps I know leave theirs on charge every night, far as I know, resting heart rate requires the watch to be worn whilst sleeping for best results? -

Can’t do that if you have to charge nightly.

I have the iWatch, battery lasts between 24-36 hours. Also, for heart rate it is required and recommend to be worn 24 hrs per day so it can fully monitor it. of course, there’s many other tracker watches / devices, some maybe better, but everyone here seems to use FitBit or Apple Watch, that said, most who use for a fitness regime tend to use FitBit
Seems the Apple Watch is just an extension of your phone, just a fashion accessory -
Wait for the series 4 watch def worth it tho

I put my Apple Watch on charge when I get ready for bed and when I’m getting dressed in the morning. Then I can wear it all day and all night without a dead battery. About 20 minutes each time seems to be enough.
I’m still on series 2, but I don’t plan on upgrading until it dies.
The new phone, I ordered as soon as the site let me. 5 teraflops was a new super computer testing nuclear weapons At Livermore labs in 2000. Now it plays TurfWars. That’s really, really, really terrifying. I for one welcome our new neural network overlords.

You still need to charge your Apple Watch twice a day
If I get one of these it’ll be purely to wear on my dick -

I love it when people get all bashy online about brand x and brand y.
“BMW sucks. Toyota is better and cheaper, too. You’re stupid if you choose BMW.”
All you can do is smile and nod.

Oh man, just realized I can get Turf Wars notifications on my FitBit ... that’s getting turned off ASAP.

Can i cap turf from an apple watch? Nick needs to make that happen.

Maybe not all game functions but capping turf would be nice.
