How’s everyone like the new changes ?
-
Mr Dreamsmasher how do you like them?
-
Omertà I would ask you but you just started playing ?
-
Oof

Well since you asked, I personally think the openstreetmap geocoder sucks.
But it's like I always tell my wife. Ya get what ya pay for.
-
Doesn't she get offended by that?

I think its a move in the right direction and should have been done long ago. Will it need tweaking and updates? Of course. I want it to work as well as any other geocoder, or all of them combined :) But i’ve always believed the game should be independent in that sense. Now if we can just get those temp codes brought into the code form..... single thread per day, updated as soon as a new temp code is generated....

It's more fair with one geocoder that everyone has to use, but it still sucks.😐
Airports' gray areas (the actual airports) will be invalid, as they are only valid on apple.🚫🛩 Also; many, many, many roads will be made invalid, as happened with the loss of the google coder.🚫🛣 Reducing valid areas is also going to make the game unplayable for a lot of new players. They will start, not be able to plant, & quit; as it will be a pointless game for those with no valid zones in their area.
It's good for fairness, but very bad for the game.👎💩👉😵 -
And as far as making the game fair would be a valid goal, it's obviously not the goal. MFP has no interest in making the game fair.👉😵

You can create an account on OpenStreet map and do your own tagging that will show up on the map ... many many evil possibilities.

also i agree its a step in the right direction. next thing he needs to work on is getting new players or fixing the mob code system so it isnt tied to the growth of the player base

Too many accounts sold

Get rid of being over limit and tie it to turf dropped. Its more dynamic, you can get stronger or weaker according to how much turf you have planted. The need for spreading out and safeties would be more important and everyone would be mobile.also i agree its a step in the right direction. next thing he needs to work on is getting new players or fixing the mob code system so it isnt tied to the growth of the player base

but this would just be pay to win as the players with the highest turf limit would be the strongest.yomama1064 wrote:

i would be open to some kind of change to tie influence to either cap limit or cap range though.

Don’t really matter, we went from 40% of the map being plantable to 20% and the majority of that is already covered.★DΞICIDΞ★ wrote:

Y’all have fun playing for New York and part of Cali

Its be pay to win. Hench, bren, turf limit, profile stats, stam refills. If you dont pay... can you seriously compete? Note, I didnt say at all.... but be real.

Power would shift a little but same players forking out money would still do so. The difference is it would give new players a chance to ramp up fast and really get into the game instead of the code based system where the get hardly anything for their time and they cant even solve it with money. Would it encourage more spending? Yes. But i think we would see a larger retention percentage if players had more control
-
That or move to fake codes/members. Keep the code punching but issue codes for hench. So the players willing to put in the time get rewarded and stronger. But it would be guaranteed mob members for your effort.

This is a good idea. Nothing like punching 500 codes and maybe getting 50 mob bigger. Or, just give everyone 1,000 apiece of Dunn’s mobb. 😈
