1. The Mexican is cruel by nature and the Texan must, in self defense, treat the Mexican cruelly, since that is the only treatment the Mexican understands. Walter Prescott Webb says the that the Mexican is "the most merciless and implacable foes know to mankind."
2. The Mexican is cowardly and treacherous, and no match for the Texan. He can get the better of the Texan only by stabbing him in the back or by ganging up on him with the crowd of accomplices.
3. Thievery is second nature in the Mexican, especially horse and cattle rustling, and on the whole he is about as degenerate a specimen of humanity as may be found anywhere.
4. The degeneracy of the Mexican is due to his mixed blood though the elements in the mixture were inferior to begin with. He is descended from the Spaniard, a second rate type of European, and from the equally substandard Indian of Mexico, who must not be confused with the noble savages on North America.

5. The Mexican has always recognized the Texan as his superior and thinks of him as belonging to a race separate from other Americans.
6. The Texan has no equal anywhere, but within Texas itself there developed a special breed of men, the Texas Rangers, in whom the Texan's qualities reached their culmination.

It’s funny because of how ridiculous it is. Same as why beavis and butthead are funny. I’m sure alot of humor would be received differently if it were to be taken literal. I have to allow myself to laugh at the sheer stupidity of it. Even if people really thought that way, and i met them in real life i would not be able to keep myself from laughing at how ridiculous they are.

Peterson is a huge Nietzsche fan boy. Peterson goes on and on about how he’s a super genius. I think Nietzsche is where his ridiculous stance on God comes from.
Basically, they think God is a necessary illusion that we must conjure up or we will sink into madness and ruin. So they play along with the pretending and call it “real in a sense”. A “real myth”.
They are like reality agnostics.
Everyone thinks Nietzsche is so dark and nihilistic... Ha! If you are willing to play make-believe just to make yourself feel better, so afraid of the abyss that you are willing to outright lie to yourself... I can’t do it. I’m on Sam Harris’ side. Peterson can suck it.

Im not sure its a bad thing. It theres no god and no afterlife. That doesnt mean you are anymore comfortable with death. I mean they are lying to themselves. Some would say any one believing in a diety is doing the exact same thing. These guys are just admitting to it up front and they are the ones with a problem? Instead of the ones believing in their delusion, who also admit they know... its called faith. We are just going to choose to believe... lol. i will admit im ignorant on these three, nietzsche, peterson and sam harris. The only one iv heard of is nietzsche but im not really educated on him. However from what youve described above theres been times in my life iv had those same thoughts. Clearly I need to read more.

Just an FYI that as a Latino (not Mexican, though) and someone who grew up with Mexicans, this is way more a reminder of how we’re perceived and sometimes treated than anything funny — for any reason. Many people still feel this way to some degree, so while it may be funny to you, to me it’s a sad reminder of how many Americans feel about us.

Even after 40 years of fighting racism and seeing the goals in which we have reached here in America, America is some how still very much trying to fight this invisible ghost called racism. Nationality is not the same as race but we still today confuse them with typical stereotypes. Calling a stereotype is not racist, it’s looking upon statistics and pondering about their motivations of culture.
