I'm really enjoying this but are there any other gps based games that have larger player counts that I could play alongside this?

Been looking at some of the estimates of how many active players there are and it's a little sad :(

Yep. Same engine. GPS capture the flag with some extra complexities. Depends on your area but can be good team play and competitive. Also, lots of game styles for different player types etc.
