In the 70s, 80s and 90s the uk was bombarded by terror and explosives by the Irish ira. Where was the rest of the world when this was happening? Did France or the usa get involved?? Nope. Nobody did

At the end to the day, if people are not willing to fight for their own freedom - they will never be able to retain it. God bless our past and present military who the world often looks to - to solve everyone else’s problems.

And the meek shall inherit the earth.

I find it really ironic that here I am, a former gang member, who never graduated high school and once cared little for others’ lives, now arguing why we should care about other lives. Little do some of you realize how much you embody the us vs. them gang mentality. I also find it sad that I am arguing the value of innocent human lives. I’m not going to continue debating this, as if people don’t care about basic human life, there’s little I can do to change your moral foundation.

You mention 9/11 Al-Qaeda Jash-al-Islam (Army of Islam) or Isis if you like. Assad is fighting them ?????Have our leaders sit idly by as another attack or 9/11 type scenario plays out. They show they MIGHT gas some opposing group then we show we WILL take action. I, for one, would rather focus on making the most of what we have for my family’s sake. Is this the best way to handle things? Probably not but it is the way of the world. It is a dark and daunting place but it is the only one we have.

I think most of us care about others' lives in many ways. The dilemma comes from choosing who's life is more important: our own vs the greater good, my country vs your country, good vs evil (in your own opinion), my friends vs my family. Even when conquering true evil, innocent lives will be lost. It's never simple, and so there will always be debate. As there should be.

Responsibility for the chemical attack is yet unconfirmed. No matter who is responsible , U.S. Retaliation without UN/Congress approval violates international law, U.S. Constitution war Power Act.
Luca you have watched to many Hollywood movies. -

And so have you if you think they just throw a pin at a map and blindly bomb someone without cause. Even if they don’t know, and it appears to us that they did it for unsubstantiated claims, they do have a reason. Like i said, even if you aren’t privy to it. I trust they know more than you and I do. Maybe you should too. I find it funny that it’s easier for people to believe they blindly kill innocents for no reason over hey... it’s the gov and military they MIGHT know something that we don’t see on the news. These same people often claim the gov has all kinds of secrets. Which is it??? They can hide stuff from us or not? ffs.Responsibility for the chemical attack is yet unconfirmed. What you mean like Iraqs WMD

I expect them to do their job. And im not going to bitch about it. That’s like people in the stands trying to tell a coach who’s how to do his job when all they really see is the score. Sometimes the other team just beats you’re ass because they are better. But I’m not gonna tell the coach how to do his job. That’s his career. It’s easy to sit in the stands and bitch. But I’m going to trust my coach and team to win and I’m not going to question what they know and how they do their job.

As I've said in many other threads. Isis have been funded by Saudi. Israel. Our countries no this Isis are mercenaries (paid) just like the paid mercenaries who attacked Libya.
Assad is obviously backed by Russia. This is the west trying to overthrow Syria.
Not rocket science

I am aware of that. But didn’t we have a hand in helping the roots of Al-Qaeda fight off the impending communists back in the day? Look what happened 20 odd years later. So I’d prefer if our leadership didn’t just let those we were working with to feel they can get away with whatever they want. On to the next place we go cuz as we all know it’s just a matter of time until training camps pop up somewhere else or another threat rises from the ashes of their predecessors.⌖🔥RΛINDᎧG🔥⌖ wrote:

In the end though...this sure does hint at the shadow wars of the cold war days.

I understand that people might look at me and say “he sounds like an idiot, just another uneducated dumb american.” And they would be right. Difference is, i recognize that i don’t know squat besides what the media decides to share and there is always more to the story. Yes i believe in gov secrets. Yes i believe theres a lot more to the story that we have no clue about. i believe there is a reason, even if it’s one that i don’t know and i don’t agree with. I believe there is a reason behind the acceptable loss of innocent lives. They gov that is elected by us and paid by us to make these decisions. So i trust that we aren’t just a drunk cowboy country shooting wildly into the night killing randomly. Although i think that’s the view quite a few have of us. I believe our moves are calculated and weighed against a scale that we might know the details of. And it’s not about the decisions of one man. I think more than trump agree with what we are doing and how it’s being done.

Shush. It’s not a movie. It’s history. Read up bro.

Why should I care about somebody I don’t know, a world away living in ruins, that didn’t have the intelligence to gtfo of the country when it went to shit? 42 civilians? 4000? What does it matter War is War. The U.S. should take whatever steps it feels is necessary to end a seemingly endless war. Fuck the method just get the job done and get out. Russia, China, North Korea? I’m not going to worry about some World War 3 happening because facts are there are more guns in this country than people, we spend multiple more times than the next ten countries on defense, and we have the greatest military in the world. If Russia or China or North Korea sends nukes you better believe we’d send every nuke we had right back at them and then you’re at the Mutually Assured Destruction theory and everyone on Earth dies anyways so why should give a flying fuck about any of it? Shit happens, people die every fucking day a million different ways.
-
As for resolving conflict in the Middle East maybe if America stopped selling guns and ammo to anybody and everybody and pumping literal tons of weapons into the Middle East and bombing the shit out of anything and everything that moves we’d resolve some of this shit without war. (Seriously look up how many bombs we’ve dropped in Iraq and Afghanistan.) But money drives this world and boy are guns and war money makers. Even if we did stop selling weapons to everyone. What would probably happen is somebody else would just step in and fill the market but at least we wouldn’t be contributing to the problem with cheap weapons. All we’ve done in the Middle East is make America the poster boy villain for radical propaganda.
-
Lol after all you have just wrote how can you call it propaganda lol
So basically I'm right with what I say. You don't give a fuck who or why your leaders bomb and kill and sacrifice your own soldiers in the process.
As backward as the radical Muslims
-
Welp, since many of you only care about America (and probably not even many Americans, I’m guessing), I’ll drop this here.
We spent anywhere from $100-250 million on the strikes. Meanwhile, it still would only cost $55 milllion to fix an American city’s (Flint) still-poisoned water supply. I’m sure we could fix OK’s school system (and then some) where teachers are striking over miserable working conditions (deterioritinf buildimgs, mold, etc.).
I’m guessing many of you still don’t care, though.
-
Have you watched Enders game? Now that was sacrifice :) we elect and pay them so we don’t have to care. If I wanted a say so I would have studied and went in to politics myself. But no, I don’t care or give a fuck who they bomb and kill. And those “sacrificed” choose those positions and do so for the love of their country. They are respected and appreciated. They are brave heroes and the moment they signed up they sacrificed their lives in devotion to defending us. I say let them do whatever they feel is necessary. I can’t call shots from the sideline because I’m not in the game and don’t really know what’s going on. I trust that they do. I’m comfortable sitting at home drinking my Starbucks watching my kids grow up because they are over there killing 4K people for whatever reason they have. So be it. Our freedom comes at a cost? Of course and so what. Better their blood than ours.
-
55 million is not a lot and I’m sure the money is there somewhere. I’m all for those things being focused on and fixed. Hell they could do a billionaires fundraiser and get the money, some companies spend millions just on advertising plenty could help out. Churches across the nation could be raising funds. Plenty could be done outside of depending on the gov.(not that they shouldn’t have done it already) but still. More than one way to get it done.
-
DEICIDE your the German guy who watched millions die without calling foul play. Your no better than the radical Muslims that celebrated when the twin towers fell, killing 4/5 thousand .
If this was happening to your kids you would be looking round asking why nobody is helping them. The answer would be as simple as we don't give a fuck about your kids.
But some of us are different. Some of us give a shit not everyone is as selfish as yourself. -
lol. but it's not. under different circumstances we might all be very different people. in the right environment you would be one of the guys flying into the towers. anyone can play that game. :).

World Birth and Death Rates
Birth Rate Death Rate
• 19 births/1,000 population • 8 deaths/1,000 population
• 131.4 million births per year • 55.3 million people die each year
• 360,000 births per day • 151,600 people die each day
• 15,000 births each hour • 6,316 people die each hourseems there still some room for more deaths... just saying.... it's not as dire as some make out. so why fix anything really??? if anything it probably needs to be a little more in the other direction or at least more balanced.

i guess you would love to cure every disease, lengthen life expectancy and have world piece. then what would keep us in check? or you don't believe anything about us fishing and hunting things into extinction. or destroying the ozone. or anything else right? i don't see any problems with natural disasters or wars or hell even gangs or serial killers or diseases doing their part in helping balance things out. nature of the beast ;)
-
And what’s wrong with a hostile take over anyways. We would be helping them and by bringing them under our umbrella. Wouldn’t be so quick to kill our own citizens right?

Agent Smith: I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You're a plague and we are the cure.

I don’t think comparing the US to hitler Germany is a fair comparison. And before you say you didn’t... comparing me backing the US to them blindly following or letting hitler do his thing is saying we are nazi Germany. Shame on you shush. What an ugly thing to say. But I will confess I’m not a big fan of humanity looking at our track record. You say “humanity” like it’s a good thing when I’m not sure I agree. But whatever.
