It’s Opening Day!!! I guess technically, yesterday was, but Cincinnati was rained out sooooooo, today is Opening Day!!! Finally, baseball is back!

Instead of spending money on an investigation of collusion between Russia and a Republican....there should be an investigation between a former member of the Evil Empire and the Evil Empire itself. How can that trade be allowed?

And I’m not a Yankee hater. But every effort should be made for fairness. It just seems that it was allowed because of the argument that “baseball is better when the Yankees are good.”

Sadly, you are correct. But I was worried about their pitching this year and at least that didn’t look terrible. For the first game anyway....

I say he does, but only because the expectations of the Phillies is so low. He’s just kind of like a place holder. It’ll be interesting to see what happens this year. There’s like 4-5 new managers with zero managerial experience.

I think you are right. He deserves a year as an opportunity...but there seems to be something very Chip Kelly-ish about him.

I think he will last the year. But if the Phillies are still last in the division I don’t think he’ll be there in 2019. That pitching change snafu was just bad. Surprised no one picked up on it.
