They park outside of his house half an hour before his expected return, check their guns, and wait.

Half an hour later the gangster hasn't returned. They keep waiting - time passes and he still hasn't come home. Another hour goes by with no sign of the target. Finally, one of the henchmen looks at his watch and says:

We've been here for 3 hours and he still ain't showed up.

"Jeez", the other henchman says. "I hope nothing happened to him."
