so here's the question, I've only been playing for a little over a year I started on a jax hades God of death guitar and then got a fender strat which i love. if you own any what do you have and what are your favourite guitars, riffs and hero's I have a ton dating back 40 years I'll post some here

I prefer accoustic myself. Matches my style of playing music more, somewhat dreamy.

I love my all my guitars but my favorite is a strat I recently bought off craigslist and modded to my likings. Put invader pickups in both the neck and bridge but kept the single coil in the middle. The tortoise pickguard on the natural wood finish is just so pretty😍

Just have a cheap-o Gio Ibanez with a Ibanez amp and Digitech effects pedal.

Love my fellow guitar nerds ... As a cheap effects unit, I'm using a BOSS GT-6. It's a decent all in one, but I'd love to find something a bit smaller / less complicated. Any suggestions?

Built my own bass. Modelled on a fender precision , stretched out to accommodate a B string. Through the body neck made from Purple Heart bracketed by curly maple , with Mexican ziricote wings. All very hard woods which make it a little heavy but give it incredible sustain.

Got a DIY ‘strat’ and a black Jem 555. I play my ‘strat’ way more these days. The jem was great for gigging tho, very versatile.
