I know how you need to have 2 less turfs than your cap to hop but any tips on saving money from creating the turfs? Any tricks to know when attempting the first time?

try to stay away from congested areas. the fewer turf around the less it cost to plant. also use loot, the further you hop away from your own turf the cheaper it can be. hopping with 135’s can be as cheap as 1k if done right.

Kind of a pain in the ass to use loot cause you have to unequip though, I usually use 86 influence turfs

yes but with enough turf you can get to a location quicker and worry about tearing down later.
