You can't brick an iPhone/iPod there is always a way to restore.. Unless you have corrupted apples bootrom which takes some serious doing! Jailbreaking is something you do at your own risk... Always read how to do things before you try them. I have never had a problem with mine because I know it inside out!

I'm jailbroken and even accidentally disconnected it from pc while greenpoison was doing all the stuff where the White text comes on screen like when you get after you turn a pc off by holding the button.mine works fine.

Haha wow I just had my iPod bricked. First thing I did was connect to my computer and save my pics and screenshots on a flash drive. Then I dfu'ed on my Mac to connect to iTunes. Then you restore. You lose everything though

Try putting it into recovery mode. Just google iPhone recovery mode. I bricked my daughters iPod on Christmas day. It took me a bit but I was able to restore it and then I turned right around and jailbroke it

I decided to play with the "Yes, I'm a hacker" option, when I am clearly not a hacker.

And apparently, I don't follow instruction as well as I thought I did.

Anyway, DFU (Device F**ked Up?) to the rescue.

I want my 3 point whatever it was OS back. :(

Mine did this. I held the power and home button until it reset. Took between 3-5 mins and a few trys yet it worked

Bricked phones are verrrry rare anyway. Glad you fixed it. If you jb and get 4.1, get toggle and disable multitasking. It slows the phones down too much. iPhone is the bomb though glad I got mine!
