An old English tradition. It's basically when a bloke tried to blow up the houses of parliament way back when. He was foiled and to celebrate we burn lots of things and set off fire works. Some say it's a good thing he wa stopped, some sy it's a bad thing it didn't happen. A an act of early terrorism was stopped, we go nuts for one day!!!

One bonfire night I went to my uncle's. We set off a firework and it landed, unexploded underneath the neighbour's car! Evryone crappd themselves!!!!
