Supras have appreciated in value so much just in 10 years that they’re almost out of the realm of casual enthusiasts now. Stock supras are much more desired and it’s nearly impossible to find stock ones. Aside from less desired models like automatics and NA. And forget finding one under 100k miles. Project car guys all have the Supra dream now thanks to fast and furious lol.ᎮᎩᎡᎧ wrote:

Depends on what you wanna do with it. For daily driving or is it a project car? Daily driver you’re better off with a Z in my opinion. They’re more common which means easier access to parts and mods but still keeps street ability. S2K with a hardtop is something I’ve been wanting for awhile. They’re kinda rare these days even the rag tops. I saw this one not long ago- hard top, bright glossy white, black wheels. It was clean as hell. They’re more expensive too. Might break that 10k budget. I haven’t shopped around for an S2k so don’t know what they go for these days. Most of em have at least 100k miles I bet.

I don’t know I think it depends on what kinda Z you’re looking at. And the year, mileage etc is all a factor.

City Limo. AKA public transportation.

Spend the minimum you can on a car (depreciating asset) and the maximum you can on a home (generally appreciating).
