Seriously though NYC is a madhouse. Might want to plant outside of the city where it's safer before you wander in to the jungle.

I'm staying at a hotel in the middle of the city and can't get to the outskirts, indent mind people fighting me, but tuffmullets is capping my turfs and when I leave I go back to a crappy island with only 4-5 other players . So I kinda wanna stay around here.

That's what I was thinking but I'm gonna have to save up, I was hoping I would make more income in NY but with protection and upkeep I'm actually loosing money on my turfs here

I realized he wasn't too far ahead of me in mob size, I think I'm gonna hop to jersey in the morning and build up for a few weeks and come back at him. In NY on business and can't spend all night punchin codes. But if I can last till I get back home that's another story

For the record the Guns n' Roses song started to play in my head from the moment I read this post until ... Well it still is.
Troggy: welcome to NY! I was visiting when I dropped my first turf and have lost many since planting. Rebuild, and keep up with the good rapport. Nothing guarantees you from
getting capped out, but once you get settled you'll want to stay. Compared to the small cities, being in a big city makes this game a lot more adventurous.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Looks like tuffmullets responsed to my request to let me be. So for now it's cool. But I'm still gonna hop over to jersey so I'll have a safe turf away from everyone

Lol I wish, my highest making turf was like 118k but that's because it was on top of smaller turfs.
52k is the usual.

Yea, all mine are 52, when tuffmullet capped one of them I was getting protection cause my other turf was covering it, but that stopped when the turf healed, if u've got balls of steal u could put a UB and get a ton of protection but it would take 5 minutes for everyone to realize and cap the turf to get the UB
