No you shouldn't have stopped. If you keep driving they can't chase you because 'it's too dangerous for the public'

Not sure on your states laws but they'll chase you across state lines here until the next states cops take over.

Yes but if it's too dangerous for them to chase you, they will stop chasing. Sure there will be a warrant out for your arrest but you can go to Mexico and live your life there knowing that you will never be able to return home unlesss you want to go to prison
