Hey everyone,
Earlier this afternoon, the News Feed database experienced a data corruption issue that unfortunately led to the loss of all News Feed and Chat data prior to the failure. This issue affected both the standard and real-time News features. As part of the system restoration process, we've created a new database file which will only include data as of 1:35pm Pacific Time today. Due to the ephemeral nature of the data, we will be unfortunately be unable to restore it.

Because this database is on a separate system than the primary database, no account data, turf, or stats were affected.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience of this technical issue; as the first significant data loss event in 7+ years of Turf Wars history, we too are disappointed in the performance of the system today, and are working to increase the redundancy of the News Feed database to prevent this issue from occurring in the future.
