Your thoughts on reloads?Boner Jams '03 wrote:
No not really, low quality ammo will not only foul up the barrel but also all the internal springs, trigger mechanism and even the slide rails which most people don't think to clean. Results in a heavy trigger, stovepipe or even worse a wildfire which can cause you to shoot a loved one... learn to detail strip your weapon, a field cleaning only goes so far. Cheap ammo will bite you in the assCheap ammo might be ok at the range, but not for personal defense

I guess I just never thought of a revolver jamming.
Loser that is one of the things that was so cool about the p232, flip one lever and then the gun comes completely apart in your hand then you can clean the whole thing.
I like reloading so far, it has been a learning curve and a steep investment, but it's a little relaxing once it's set up. The benefit that my friend showed me was a book he had passed down for generations that was his families search for the perfect load for each rifle. He claims to have it but won't tell me.

How did I miss this thread? My favorite subject and passtime. 😊 Regular carry is a Glock 23 with 165gr spear gold dot. Secondary is a walther PPS with 124gr golden saber. Many others to choose from. 😊 I have blast. Criminals beware.

Reloads are great as long as it's done properly. They can be very dangerous otherwise. I've seen the side explode off a lever action rifle because the load was to hot.⌖ℒ☠Ꭶℰℜ⌖ wrote:

That is what is referred to as a field strip, not a detailed strip. I'm talking pulling it completely apart trigger assembly and all. Do not try to do it if you haven't done plenty of research on the guns assembly first.I guess I just never thought of a revolver jamming.

Those in Cali will either have to get a permit to buy ammo or begin reloading at home and high capacity mags are now illegal. My state has voted gun restriction increases also. Legislators SUCK!!😡

that sucks, thanks for the advice guys, I am enjoying this little gun, it's a nice feel to it, an the bullets are so cute and tiny :)
I was able to take it to a range and this federal ammo was much ether than the stuff I tried at first, I'll be using it more or this gun.For those of you who carry large guns for concealed carry, do you always where a jacket or how do you find the best way to carry? I guess that can go for little guns like this one too, but I'm curious to see ways that you would carry something big like my .357

Ones body size and how they dress plays a large part. I carry a Glock 23 IWB at 8 o clock, I'm lefty. Shirts always untucked and my size hides it ok. I don't like little guns unless for concealment that's my only option.that sucks, thanks for the advice guys, I am enjoying this little gun, it's a nice feel to it, an the bullets are so cute and tiny :)

I've only ever shot an SA80 when I was in the Navy. Bloody awful thing.

Reloads are a great way to reduce your ammo costs at the range or hunting. But never ever use reloads for self defense. If you are ever in a situation where you had to actually use your weapon for self defense it will be much easier for your attorney to keep you out of prison if you use " commercially available ammunition."

I have a tomahawk and a few blades
