Hot Sauce?

Both generic ... make your own ... you can actually do this in the great white north ... next spring ... plant some hot pepper plants and let Google guide you the rest of the way.
-
I put that shit on everything.

... no no ... super easy. Yes, you have to grow your own hot peppers but that's half the fun. The simplest recipe calls for you to blend them with just enough vinegar to get the consistency right ... you can add some carrots for colour. That's it.

I'll take Louisiana hot sauce over everything
-
This is apples and oranges...
Srihacha is Thai pepper sauce, Frank's is Cayenne. They're too different . Compare Frank's/Tapatio/Cholula/Tabasco.

Siracha is definitely the spicier sauce.
But I prefer the taste of Franks
-
I like the cayenne pepper on seafood and noodles
I like the whatever is in siracha for some types of beef
Valentina uses some tree pepper that goes good on chips and chicken
I like them all 🔥

If you use scotch bonnet aka habanero they come with their own colour. Also add some green mango (can't remember why but my wife always puts some in).ℱᵃƖ🐝Ɩᵃʗყ wrote:

Two years ago my wife just grabbed a variety of plants from the nursery. We ended up with devil tongues and ghost peppers. Holy crap! Thank god the vinegar helps to cut the heatCoolio wrote:

They are totally different flavors. I almost always go Frank's Red Hot. I think Sriracha is overhyped. Really garlicky and the sweetness is weird, I like the vinegar-ey taste.

If I'm buying hot sauce in a bottle, I'm going with Texas Pete. It actucally has a little bit of flavor.
