MacBook is more portable. iMac is a nice computer but ya can't take it anywhere. :-)

Depends wether you plan to travel with your computer or not. Cause the iMac is a more powerful computer but obviously the MacBook you can take with you. All comes down to if your taking it with you anywhere or not

1 grand for base 11" is actually worth it if u want superior portability n durability. If not go with MBP or MacBook.

Any real Mac owner would highly disagree on setting it up as a dual boot. Mac is like marmite u either love it or hate it. Most Mac owners I know (Inc myself in the past) have both Mac and Windows based PCs.

Here is what you do. Get a base model hard drive in your MacBook Pro. Then when the computer comes in, you find the larger hard drive online for stupid cheap. You can easily upgrade the hard drive in the MacBooks. This would solve what most people seem to have a problem with concerning the Macbook Pro. Also, I have a macbook that I hook up to a 42 inch Phillips tv when I want to lay in bed and work on school work or watch movies that I am streaming. The options that you have with the Macbook, imo makes up for the lack of power when compared to the iMac.

If you have an iPad or itouch you can get team viewer app which let's you remotely control your comp. Making the iMac portable essentially.
