Families are a useful tool (I imagine) for the big alliances that fight a lot as they provide an in-game chat room and show each members stats. For the rest of us....well it's just an in-game chatroom that shows each members stats.

I like families mainly for the monthly bar-b-ques during the warmer months.

The Octoberfest party last year was pretty good too. 'Course it had to end eventually cause some drunk ass makes a fool of themselves and knocks over the bar (Thanks Saba)

I love the families feature!

No more doing database searches for funky named mobsters -- the more egotistical crews serve their members up on a silver platter, with tappable links to each person.

Much better than the 10-searches per day limitation.
