What do you think guys? Is it the Zoo's fault or the mother's fault that Harambe died?

Doesn't matter, it was a gorilla.

Someone at my college spray painted "Trump / Harambe 2016" onto a boulder.
I like it.

We are but hairless apes, sharing 98.6% of our dna with monkeys. If gorilla lives don't matter, then why should humans'?

Ahh the god explenation. Even if true, why would we share 98.6% of our dna (let alone even 1%) if we were a chosen species? Wouldnt our genetic makeup be completely unique?Anonymous69 wrote:

if we were created by a god then the why is irrelevant. might as well ask why exist at all. doesnt matter. it just is. 98.6, 99.9. who cares. maybe we have souls and they dont. maybe everything has a soul. maybe nothing does. maybe its in the 1.4% that doesnt match.

A quick google search shows
80% DNA shared with cows
90% DNA shared with cats
75% DNA shared with dogs
99% DNA shared with ratsThen from myself I say...
DNA is the basic building blocks of LIFE
The basics of things are what is similar in all parts of the spectrum, the slightest change makes enormous differences. All life (so far) on earth being carbon based would mean that they are all made to survive the same location.God made them all, and set them up to live on this planet.
-
or made the planet and sat back to watch how that creation would evolve. why the need to feel special or singled out by a god. if one is involved wouldnt it be more likely that it showed all creation the same attention and care or lack there of.
-
google also shows gorillas, and elephants, can be eaten in africa..... obviously a trip to africa is needed.

perhaps god created the building blocks and just watched life take off on its own? see how the universe plays out. whatever species or even planets make it is up to life and the universe. not god. we have already been given everything we need. if we chose to end a species of even destroy our planet, why stop us?🤔

if we stop assuming we're so special we can entertain the idea that maybe gods plan is a little more open ended. live or die doesnt matter. gods just watching how its creation plays out. maybe we survive, maybe we dont. maybe theres a god, maybe not.

We evolved from rats? Politics suddenly makes sense.
