So is it? I mean maybe I am missing something but if you just 👊👊 temps would you not have all the codes anyway? I thought that the temps just become normal codes after a period of time? but i punch both temps and normal codes regardless do u lot see this as a waste of time? I am starting to after repeat 'this player is already in your mob' or u have already invited this player msgs. It would appear 1 in every 4 or 5 normal codes is a new invite...

If you use turfwarsdb.com to punch both temp and normal codes u can highlight codes as you enter them, when them temp codes then become normal codes it already tells you that you have entered them. This then means you know not to enter them again!

Well, from your own estimate, if you only punch temps, you will miss 20-25% of codes. Right?

Temp codes do not become normal codes. Temp codes are in addition to a player's normal code, but only for their first 7 days and then the temp code expires and you can't enter it anymore.

The way the temp codes are provided to the code sites is in random clusters roughly every 6 hours. This means that the temp codes can omit many new players codes if their temp code does not come up in one of the random clusters during their first 7 days. So while the temp codes provide you with a list of a much higher percentage of codes of new players, not all new players are accounted for. (there are other issues that reduce the amount of codes/new players but that's a different post in and of itself).

So by punching only temp codes you do not get the maximum amount of codes. Many of the players can slip through and you can end up findin their normal codes later on. So for me, I punch anything that even resembles a code, temp code, normal code, custom code, whatever.

A better question is, do you think with the mob growth at the current rate can you afford NOT to do both? I do just because I was a little later to the game than some so I had ground to make up.

Thanks all, that has cleared up and validated what I thought! I will continue through the daily grind of temp & normal, shit I am not far off a pure 10k mob now so might as well keep going....
