what is a pot noodle? exactly?
it's my Saturday. after spending 13 or so hours a day cooking for other people, I tend to eat out of cans and boxes or doctor up leftovers. and I bought 5 lbs of ground lamb the other day so I could have shepherd's pie for ages. this morning, it's gonna be tortellini en brodo (I like soup for breakfast sometimes.)

as far as uk food goes, I've always wanted to make some rendition of a proper fry up but in the form of an amuse bouche. from the bottom up: tiny round of buttered toast, sliver of black pudding, square of back bacon, sliver of white pudding, half a roasted grape tomato, sliver of Irish sausage, quail egg sunny, 1/4 of a button mushroom, tea smoked and flash fried.
one bite, nom nom nom.
