To all veterans, thank you for your service; As well to all those currently serving.

Memorial Day is not about the living...
-
Nice try though

I didn't even think about memorial day coming up. I was just trying to make someone's day. Thank you. If it would of been about memorial day. It would have been phrased differently.

You're welcome.

Yeah. Those guys and gals that are still living don't deserve any thanks or anything.

Memorial Day is to remember the fallen (which now includes fire and police), Armed forces day (two weeks ago) is to honor those who still serve and wear Americas uniforms, and Veterans Day is to honor those that have served, which can include those who are still serving.Yeah. Or you can be thankful every day you wake up, maybe throw a random act of kindness to those who make your life possible on a day that you are not having to be reminded by marketing, and public relations.Mickey Dunn wrote:

Thank you mathematics

I was simply stating the difference in the days, never once did I say you couldn't be thankful or show appreciation. As a veteran myself, I am still humbled by my peers. Also none of these holidays were created by Hallmark or the sugar industry.

I know. There were previously comments before disapproving this message.

Right in Jarl!

Thank you! I, as a vet, appreciate this, but Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for our fallen brethrenTo all veterans, thank you for your service; As well to all those currently serving.

I know. When I posted this in forgot memorial day was coming up. I was having a bad day and wanted to make someone's day. So who better than the people who made good days possible.
