Was wondering if that's a dangerous place(turf wars wise). I'm worried a tiny, low mobbed punk like me would lose turfs pretty easily.

It all pretty much depends on where you want to place turf as those of us here cannot speak for every player here, but you'd be protected inside the safezone. PM attrition, Mystery, or myself for more info.
