Starbucks is in the testing faze of selling alcohol. I think it's going to be huge for them. Your thoughts?

You're talking from a biased consumer point of view. I hate coffee and don't go to either place. But starbucks has built an incredible machine and are always looking to grow their business. 70% of their business is before 2pm. Alcohol will be after 4 pm.

I can't see it happening... Cost implications are would be huge for alcohol license etc.... Drive-thru for a corona would be nice though.... The Texans will love it... One less thing to get out of the car to buy.....

selling stimulants and depressants in liquid form. sweet. what goes up must come down. I still like that they have whole bars in the movie theaters.

I advocate copious amounts of alcohol consumption frequently and often. dunkin might taste lovely, but it doesn't give me a buzz or help me maintain my covetted functional alcoholic status. (as I drink a can of bud light here on the Amtrak. my transport of choice because they have beer. and outlets.)

Just so everyone knows they are already past the test phase. There are a few beer wine coffee shops in Seattle under a different name, but they are Starbucks. This is just the first one with the name.

it is already quite the hook up joint here in seattle so it seems weirdly logical to add alcohol.
