Easier Way To Punch Temp Codes?
Forums › General Discussion › Easier Way To Punch Temp Codes?-
I am just starting to look into punching the temp codes and had a few questions, are the codes really that entire 8 character text, such as: "-847-684" ?
Also, has anyone found a faster method to punch these other than either manually typing each one into you phone/tablet while looking at the code on your PC or copying the code in a internet window on phone/tablet then switching to the app and pasting it in?
Has anyone done anything with software on PC that allows you to see your phone screen on PC and then copy/paste codes in using the PC (mouse & keyboard)? with two windows side by side on a PC this would seem a lot faster than punching on a phone or tablet. If this is possible, I don't know.
Any thoughts or ideas?

The fastest method you can use is a bluetooth keyboard. While there may be a way to link your phone to a PC to punch that is against TOS and can easily result in a ban and reset.

I got a Bluetooth keyboard but like a dummy I didn't get one with a num pad on the side

How is it against TOS to make your phone screen appear on a PC screen and manually type or copy/paste codes in.
I read through it and saw nothing that would say you cant do this. There is no automation involved or software that is anyway altering the game, it simply projecting it on your screen and allowing you to use a mouse/keyboard to input.
This part of TOS does not pertain to this: "cheating or using, developing or distributing automation software programs (“bots”), “macro” software programs or other “cheat utility” software programs or applications which are designed to modify the Service or the MeanFreePath experience;"

Before I switched to using Bluetooth keyboard, I would use speech to text and just "read" the temps into my phone. Call the list up on my pc screen and read "minus one two three minus four five six" and it worked really nicely with hardly any screwups.

However, one could then argue that a Bluetooth mouse/keyboard provides an "unfair advantage" or that certain tablets or devices the app is on makes it easier to punch them. IMO its not an "unfair advantage" just because you use a tool (Bluetooth keyboard, phone screen to PC monitor etc.) to make your manual entry a little easier.

I've always used my iPod screen. Easy and quick for me.

Stop being a lazy fuck and punch the codes. There are folks in this game that have punched codes for years upon years.

If you're on Android you can make a custom keyboard

Guess that solves that boys. However, would a VNC client be considered emulation?Belthazzar wrote:
