Player Profile Screen Changes

  Hey everyone,
  We've made an update to the Profile screen that will speed up loading for players with > 10,000 turf. Under the system up to today, all a player's cities were displayed, which could cause some devices to slow down or run out of memory when viewing these players' Profile screens.

  With the new update, rather than displaying all the cities for players with > 10,000 turf, we've grouped it all by State/Province/etc, with a button you can tap to reveal all the cities a player is active in there. This has reduced the amount of data loaded by up to 95%, and should let players of all device classes view anyone's Profile without any serious issues.

  As always, feel free to share your feedback with us here or via the in-game Feedback button on the Home screen. If you have any detailed feedback on the UI or other aspects of this change, we'd be interested in hearing it!

  I think it'd be cool if you could design your profile page a little, like put a picture and a quote or something, maybe a space for you to post a paragraph about your code or something.

  That's cool Nick but I still can see my own Turf list via the "Your Turf" button. I've reported on many occasions. It only works like once a month when you probably restart your servers. That means that I can't see my watchlist or change my turf color. I do have a work around but it's really annoying that I can't visit my own turf list to see what I have acquired. I've mentioned it before, did my own troubleshooting and I've eliminated the bad wifi or LTE or faulty devices. It works find with others on my wifi but it rarely works for me anywhere on any device. Again thanks for this new feature that will benefit everyone checking my list but it would be nice if you could resolve my issue.

  When it works it works fast but when it doesn't I get "Temporary Error: The request timed out. Retry. I'm so use to it that I already know it's going to time out before it does.

  I'd you want to clean it even more I would collapse right down to the countries. Click on the country and get the states or provinces.

  1). Don't expect a quick response from nick about this idea if any.
  2) What do you mean by customization? A quote seems a bit reasonable but why? It's a war game. How would an image even be uploaded to a game that's all text-based? DO YOU REALLY WANT TO LOAD UP A PROFILE AND BE BLASTED BY AN HD PHOTO OF SABA'S FOOT?

  Or some other body part of Saba's? Not sure it's worth the risk...

  Thank you nick, this is so helpful!! Would it be possible to make the name of each country bold, or something that would stand out a bit more when we are scrolling?

  Is this change responsible for my header issue? The section on the right with cash on hand, income, & the timer keeps moving below & then back above the line it sits on. This causes my screen to bounce up & down. It actually started a couple days after Christmas but isn't consistent on how often it happens.

  👎👎 This has been suggested several times before. IMO, there's already enough stuff on profile pages. Pictures would cause extra work for support - they'd either have to screen everything first or deal with players posting inappropriate pictures.

  You can already post quotes, etc. on your wall. I'm not even sure what you mean by "a paragraph about your code."

  I haven't experienced this header issue. I'm using an IPod Touch 5.

  Not just Mav but anyone with a wall full of messages (probably including me).

  Anyway, any chance you can do the same thing with messages e.g. Sort/filter them By month and by year - so only messages for current month are displayed, messages from previous months are filled under respective month folders, which then sit under the appropriate year folders 👍👍

  Hm. He fixed that about a year ago. Weird to see it pop up again

  Was that related to my issue this morning that I couldn't heal? I had to waste DP to heal.
