Level 50

I just want to know where should one be before they reach level 50. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think that there is a "set" answer. It depends on how you want to play. If you plan on fighting, mob size and turf limit are critical factors. If you plan on just being a "forum player", then they aren't critical at all.

When I was a level 50 I probably had 800 mob if that many. That said, the largest mobster in the game probably had 1200 mob at that time.

Level 50 of in not mistaken is fairly significant line in the sand. I believe you have don protection prior to that along with a few other benefits.
It's always been my belief that your level should be increased at as slow a rate as possible within reason, allowing you to work on the other items you will need on the other end of your journey, i.e. Mob, income, community outreach & game savvy to name just a few.
I think one of the bigger mistakes in this game (besides A&D stats & starting the game in the first place) is how quickly players feel the need to level up as quickly as possible.

And at levels 45-49, you're barely getting DON protection anyway. Level 50 is not a significant level imo. Just happens to be where 1% protection fizzes out
