If you count the thumbs as fingers (and he has no extra fingers, no missing fingers, and no extra people), then technically he has either 5 or 10 fingers behind his back. He may be holding "up" a certain number, but the other fingers are still attached to his hand. Although, I suppose he could try to hold his hand so it's more to his side & just position the fingers behind his back. It really depends on how he is defining "behind."

Technically you are all correct. But being human you can also assume that you are wrong. Though I wish you were all right, it would be unequivocally disparaging of me to leave an open ended question. As I see it, OTB always was blessed with having 9 digits. We all have 10 digits. Yes 8 fingers TB but -minus 1 from 10 digits =??? Apologies fir being so lack in my lexicon. I shan't do it again👍🏻
