Who has ever attempted a food challenge? I recently attempted one at Chick & Ruths. I had to drink a 6 pound milkshake.... I failed ☺.

I worked at Mcdonalds in high school ten years ago. A friend of mine who was a manager there was working one night after close and a chicken nugget was dropped into a bucket of water. He watched how much that mcnugget expanded in water and it got him to thinking about that happening in a human body when consumed. So he gave me the 50 chicken mcnugget challenge in 50 minutes challenge. I started out strong, eating my first 20 nuggets in 8 minutes with ease. It started getting hard when I got to 30. At the 23 minute mark, I realized if I ate one more mcnugget, they were coming back up. I quit/conceded with 38 in 23 minutes.

Others tried after me in the coming weeks and others failed. Finally some Bulgarian dude that worked there attempted and succeeded. And from what I hear he didn't have the best of nights that night

Then, 5 years later, I got in a ho ho eating contest for concert tickets at our rock radio station. The tickets were for the "ho ho tour" with Cake, the Lostprophets, and Jimmy Eat World. I love all three bands and really wanted those tickets. I get there and there are two girls, me and another tall, skinny dude built just like I was. The contest was the first to eat 2 boxes (20 ho ho's) at 8 in the morning and we weren't allowed to drink anything. I stayed with the plan for the first 11 ho ho's and at them whole. On the 11th I heard plain as day from my stomach that if I swallowed another ho ho whole, I was going to ralph. On the 14th hoho, I did it again and I came really close to blowing chunks.

Me and the other dude were neck and neck the whole way. I unwrapped my last hoho and I saw he had a half of a hoho in his hand left. I swallowed mine whole, he saw that and he threw his down and we were off to the chewing races. When I finally opened my mouth empty, the radio DJ's, looked at me, looked at him, looked back at me and then said "Oh, my God!" We had opened our mouth at the exact same second. The girls suggested we go into sudden death, but me and the other dude both said "NO". So we flipped a coin. I called tails, it was heads and I lost. So, I ate all of those hoho's just to go home with an upset stomach.
Every turn I made on the drive home I thought I was going to get sick. I got home and went to the bathroom waiting for it to happen.... it never happened. I went and laid on my bed for an hour and still wouldn't get sick. So I got up and finally went to work.

For the next two weeks I craved nothing but Chic Fil A. Greasy chicken was all I wanted.
So, the aftermath was I never got sick from either food but stayed away from them both for years to come. I didn't eat a Mcdonalds chicken mcnuget for 7-8 years but now enjoy eating them again. I have yet to eat a hoho since, but I did eat a Swiss Roll, which is close to the same thing, about two months ago. I wasn't a big fan of hohos before that contest so I don't care if I don't eat one of those again. The end
