After he comes out of his twilight, give him about 30 min to become fully conscious, then take him to his favorite place to eat! Just don't let him over do it. He might get a belly ache.

They usually use propofol nowadays. You snap out of it almost instantlyBatel here. (TW wife) I have loved loved loved Reading all the comments here. You mobster and mobsterettes are the BEST!
We are in the waiting room before the big C and the worst thing that has happened so far is TW watching me eat my delicious lunch. He was like a puppy dog begging with his eyes. Poor guy hasn't had normal food for over 24 hrs.
We're wondering how he will feel afterwards. He's so tall I hope he doesn't wobble and crush me be he's feeling loopy.

It shouldn't take too long to recover. Ease him to eating, his stomach isn't the best right now.

He is listing all the food he wants to eat right afterwards. So far we have pizza, burgers, Chinese food, ice cream and Thai food.

B here. Dr just came in and let me know that all is looking good up there in the poop chute.
He hasn't returned procedure by he's still in a room somewhere waking up. God I hope he doesn't fall over on me later. He's a tall guy and I'm small. One time he took pain meds and was swaying to and fro in the hallway. I went to him and he looked me in the eye and fell on me. It was terrifying. I could have died.
Anyway back to the poor TW... He will be back on later to say hello and share any final thoughts on his Colonoscopy adventure.
Also if you're a praying person please send one up for a random guy our age that just got a C and it "didn't turn out well for him" so said the Dr. Apparently a young guy just left earlier today with bad news. The Dr. said that though we are young it is good to get checked and even better when it looks good.
Blessings to you all!

I'm glad to hear everything looks good. They should send you home with the pics. Don't worry, Batel, there's no reason Turf Warrior should fall on you. He also shouldn't have any problems sitting, lol.
Thanks for the correct spelling of that foul stuff, Killer Khasa. I think I blocked it out of my mind. 😂

This and cervical cancer are two cancers that are preventable due to testing. Hope it goes well for you.

Thanks for all the kind words all. They found a pollup (sp) and removed it to send for testing. From what I've been told, rarely are they cancerous so I won't worry about it until I hear otherwise. Unless they find something in the pollup I shouldn't have to go back for 20 years. Chicken wings for dinner at Wing Stop and brownies in the oven. Much much better now. Thanks for the helpful words here and to the people who PM'd me supportive messages.

I had one two months ago. 6 polyps.. No issues. All were removed and tested negative for the bad stuff. Just get ready for them to make this procedure biannual .😁Thanks for all the kind words all. Did they find your head up there? Happy to hear that it's nothing serious.
