Hey there everyone. I just started playing the game Wednesday and I'm already at level 15 and have no idea if I'm now doing things right, lol.
I am totally blind and I'm enjoying the game so far. The only part that is an issue is picking a turf that's not in a heavy populated area since I can't obviously see the colours and such.
When I first started playing I didn't realize that I could look at the help files online so messed up doing my skills at first, but fixed that problem now, smiles. I could use a little more direction if possible.
I have 3 active turfs and can have up to 9 I believe. I'm wondering about a few things:
1. where do I go to see how to get more influence points?
2. After one mission I was told that I could have a liquor license, but I don't see that. Where is that located or do I still need to find that? Thanks to all help and to those that sent me quick greetings and help in the game.

Influence is directly related to your turf coverage. Liquor license is something you loot running missions like crack a back safe, and can be added to your turf to increase influence and tax others.
-
Your turf will earn more if it is in close proximity to others, but don't put it under bigger turf or you will be taxed.
-
Thanks. I must have heard it wrong when it said I had the license. Maybe it said it was something I could loot, smiles.

That's the hard part as I said. Since I'm blind I can't see where the big turfs are. That part is in colours if I understand things right making it useless for me, smiles.

Totally missed the blind part! Some loot can only be used once you reach certain levels, that was most likely the message.

Ok. My wife says "just let him win." She says he probably has a keen sense of hearing and smell. Unfortunately, this is a tough game for a blind player. The whole game takes place on a virtual map. You can't use other senses to see who you are near. But I wish you luck, Canadian Cat.

Im curiois as to how a blind person would play this game

Maybe his idea of "totally blind" isn't the same as ours.

He uses a thing called voiceover. I know how it works because I'm totally blind as well. I know I haven't told anyone before.

If you want to learn how she navigates the map, play with accessibility features. Make sure you have triple click set to home page or your device could get trapped in a never ending voice message. My girlfriend works with a wide variety of people with dissabilities so I had her show me how it could be done.
Very impressive technology. -
