... Happening in my part of the world in about 2 hours ... telescope out on the back deck to take a closer look. Anyone else going to check it out?

Everyone says it's the apocalypse because of 3 coincidental occurences:
1) the redness of the moon
2)a full moon
3) the closeness of the moon to Earth is one of few with high intensity

It's gunna look sick. Everyone should post their perspectives in TTNR🌕

The same conditions existed during an eclipse in 1982 and will occur again in 2033. It's not as uncommon as some people might think.

Too cloudy here. I saw a bit of the partial eclipse early on but then it got too cloudy. Gonna have to wait 18 years to catch the next one. Lol

My eyes suck trying to zoom in with my iPhone just got me a red pic.... Still pretty cool

Yeah, iPhone through binoculars trying not to shift the camera off the lens and focus the whole damn thing was rough lol... I suspect a tripod and the go pro might get me better results but not gonna try it tonight...

I had that problem with my telescope for probably 15 minutes. It was soo frustrating. The dang thing just kept shifting under my iPhone and giving me dark pics...
