Is Turf Wars dying?

I've recently come back from a reset + inactivity that lasted 3 years. And this exact question crossed my mind. I remember when the last post on the first page was 4 hours, not 4 days. And i remember when the map was somewhat fluid. And now its static. But im not here to reminisce about the past, im here for your opinion on that very question. In my opinion, the game is in a decline. There is much less activity than there used to be, and im afraid this trend will continue, unless something changes. Whether it be another major update or advetising in other games, i dont know. Ive already asked a few people about it and got mixed responses. Now, i want to ask you. What do you think? Is it declining, improving, or in a plateau? Im going to post a strawpoll down below. If you'd like to share your own personal opinion, you can talk about it down below. Hope to get people talking whether or not turf wars is dying.

If the map seems static to you try hopping and flying new places. There is always something going on,you just have to look for it.

Why keep bumping that pathetic DVC thread? That fat fucker was a heart attack waiting to happen, I'm honestly amazed he lasted that long. Maybe if he was obcessed with salad instead of a game, that thread wouldn't be clogging up an already dead forum
You spend thousands of dollars on what honestly is a time waste, claiming to be winning, we're all done with it anyway, I'm not spending a penny more and I don't think I'd care if I got reset so bite me.
The devs spend next to no time on this game anymore, it takes months for things to get changed such as 'New tournaments' they just check in every anniversary and Xmas to collect their cash
The answer is no turf wars isn't dying, it's already dead. And has been for a while

Turf wars had it's peak, and then it slowly dropped. The game is not dying, it's just slowed way down. People still play, just not as much as before. It's hard for any new player to try and compete with those who've been here the longest and established thus discouraging them to play.

People have been claiming TW is dying since 2010. If it's dying, it must be the slowest death in history, lol. I've never understood why people worry about it so much. If you're having fun, then play. If you aren't having fun, take a break or quit. If you have a good suggestion, post it in the suggestion forum and/or send it to support.
You can't judge the game based on how long threads stay on the first page. You probably started during the noob influx when a ton of junk was posted in the forum. IMO, quality is better than quantity. If you don't think there are currently any quality threads, then make one.
The map always looks static if you aren't watching a war zone. Additionally, some places have so many turfs that you really wouldn't notice turf changing hands if you weren't involved.

I've played this game on and off for a few years, never spent any money yet, but it's a great concept. However, we need more variety and additions and more often. However not ones that require SPs but we need more powerups, upgrades, defense against anybody, etc. I mean, many people give good suggestions but they're never implemented
