Because as we all know Gas Day happens when Johnny O cuts his hair, however people go bald. What happens if Johnny O goes bald and Gas Day can no longer happen by that indicator? What do you think would be a good indicator after that?

Why not do it ON THE ACTUAL DAY? It would seem much more respectful, and like an actual holiday.(As it's tried to make look like.)

I think Johnny O is smart enough to handle setting the date, even if he went bald. Having never met him in real life, for all we know he's actually been bald the entire time.
